Since 2002 he is the Head of the Hemodynamics Unit of the COSTA DEL SOL HOSPITAL and has extensive experience in the field of interventional cardiology, having been a pioneer in Spain in the treatment of acute myocardial infarction through primary angioplasty with stent implantation and in the percutaneous closure of the left appendage in the prevention of embolisms.
Dr. Tomás Velasco is a specialist in Nuclear Medicine, performs the explorations of Nuclear Cardiology CMC.
He completed his training at the Reina Sofía Hospital in Córdoba between 1985-89.
He is currently the Director of CDI (Diagnostic Imaging Center) in Marbella, where he conducts cardiological examinations for CMC patients, in close collaboration with the Cardiologist.
